Create Your Color Palette

Design with Lighting in Mind
Color is actually a response of a surface to light. The color we perceive has a tremendous amount to do with the way a particular object reflects, refracts and absorbs light. That’s why its important to consider the lighting of your event when you’re selecting your colors. If you’ll be married in a candlelit ceremony, take the time to look at different colors in this low, flickering light. If you’ll be married outside, in the morning sun, examine different colors in this environment.
