Designing for the Senses

Smelling, Hearing, Touching and Tasting – The Rest of Wedding Design

At Corey Williams, when we begin designing a wedding, we think first and foremost about the sensory experience of the wedding participants and guests. Although you may not think about it this way, our guess is that when looking at sites, you considered at least some of the senses too – especially sight. But by paying attention to all five senses during your wedding design and planning, you can ensure that you and your guests have a unique and cohesive experience.

You guests may not even be able to articulate why your event was so wonderful, but they will sense its uniqueness using all of their faculties. Read on for tips and ideas on incorporating elements that stimulate each of our five senses.
