Considering the Whole
Truly wonderful weddings, are those where the bride and/or her wedding designer have thought through the whole of guests' experience. From the first save the date, until your thank you note arrives, your guests are experiencing your wedding. Consider how your decorative choices work together. They needn't be overly matched. But making choices that compliment one another will evoke feelings and create a mood that's both dramatic and memorable.
Start by taking a step back and thinking about how you want your wedding to feel. What thoughts and images come to mind. Collect those on a peice of paper and refer to them whenever you make a wedding-related decision. Its one way to ensure that all of your details are in perfect harmony.
